Derek`s musical career took off at the age of 16 when he rocked the stage as a guitarist in a gospel band in St. Louis, MO. By 19, he was honing my skills at The Clayton Academy of Music, specializing in jazz guitar and musical arrangements, and from there, the sky was the limit. He had the privilege of performing alongside legends like Oliver Sain, Chuck Berry, and The Robert White Band, and he served as the guitar tech for Gary Richrath of REO Speedwagon.

In the 80s, he established himself in Fort Lauderdale, FL, as the Musical Director, guitarist, and lead vocalist for Damian/Natalie and The Factor. His talent secured him gigs with prestigious cruise lines and major casinos in Las Vegas, drastically expanding his reach.

During the late 90s, he rocked with The Private Stock Band and later teamed up with Annett’s Ring-o-Sphere from Cirque du Soleil. In 2014, he produced a groundbreaking Led Zeppelin tribute stage production, "The Legend of Led Foot."

Today, he proudly present the Ultimate Tribute Show. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Guitar Legends. This dynamic rockumentary showcases the evolution of American music and its profound influence, performed in multiple formats that cater to all event needs—from intimate solo performances to high-energy 10-piece bands. He also performs a fully costumed tribute show to Jimi Hendrix (Electric Ladyland). A one of a kind spectacular event. Great for festivals.
